New FT'ers
It's kind of scary that I was thinking along the same lines as VillageIdiot... FlyerTalk has been getting a decent amount of press in Y2K+1 and I'm sure some new FlyerTalkers have been attracted to this community as it conitnues to grow.
National attention has been brought to FT on topics such as the $28 fare to Paris, the $0 Hilton room in Mexico, hotel lurkers, Mileage Plus's chat (which was advertised on all of their e-statements) and Randy's chat with USAToday this past week. Surely these stories have brought some additional people here to help grow our FT community, like how the Pudding Guy brought chexfan!
As a sort of introduction for new FT'ers I'd suggest these two threads as an orientation to our community:[*]Where did your name come from?
[*]Who we all are (which is up to #8)

Your starting to think like me?!? Thank god!!! I though I was all alone in this big scary world!!! Finaly someone else who thinks that Tito was the most talented member of the Jackson 5 and that Liver pt flavored tooth paste would be a big seller. I have found a soul mate!!! It's ok that your math skills suck, I can look past that.
Warning/disclaimer: If you start to think like me even more over the next few days, I suggest you see a doctor. So medication to ask for would be Amitriptyline, Clomipramine, Isocarboxazid and Trazodone. Just a few of my favoites that seem to work...

My pride in FT swells in seeing this type of post. It exemplifies the exact nature of what FT is all about. Very nice welcome, if we ever need a goodwill ambassador- i've got your email address chexfan.
Gee, makes me want to be a newbie all over again.

Wow - I've been here since November and I haven't even introduced myself in "Who we all are" - what a naughty boy I am
I better do that soon.
