Brent, glad to hear you got your first choice. Congratulations!

OMNI - The good doctor Burkey has the dubious distinction of being the very first FlyerTalker I ever met. Two days later I met Catman in NYC for steak at Ruth's Chris.

Good luck in Cleveland!

One plus is there's a train to the airport!

Congratulations, burkey! Does that mean I'll have one more person to battle for upgrades on CO?

Great going, Brent! You'll really like living in Cleveland... and you'll see plenty of FlyerTalkers as we connect at Hopkins.

Best wishes for a happy and successful residency! I know I would inherently trust any doctor who knows the ins and outs of flying.

My wife, who used to live in Cleveland refers to the city as the "Mistake on the lake" On the positive side, it's a market served by Southwest Airlines, which means good leisure fares for mileage runs.

My alma mater!

For good places to eat, you can catch the Rapid at the University Circle station, grab a westbound, take it until the end of the line (Hopkins Airport), and catch a flight to New York.

Our loss here in Philly is Cleveland's gain.

Best of Luck Brent.

Good luck in Cleveland. I spend way too much time there due to the Southwest effect

If you want to hear about a million jokes like 'Mistake on the Lake' -- including the infamous lake catching on fire -- let me know -- they pass those jokes out in the Pittsburgh New Resident's packet.
