goldelite - first, welcome to the board.

second, are you sure you haven't been playing the game already this morning? That was opus17 right above me that claimed it never works. (Although I definitely agree. -- In the interest of fairness, however, it should also be noted that that's not just a Catman factor - that line doesn't work for ANYONE that tries to use it.)

Great post Bjoe. I noticed the same senseless banter on this board. If I played your game I think I'd be drunk in about 10 minutes with all those OZstamps and Catman posts. I'll raise my glass in honor of you tonight!

P.S. Dorian, it's evening time somewhere in the world so drink up!

Boy, have times changed! Our society has come a long way from the days when we played, "Hi Bob!" (For you kids, that's related to the old Bob Newhart show when he was the psychologist).

Beats the hell out of the guy on 'Survivor' singing 99 Bottles of Beer On The Wall!

This is Commander Catcop, and Catman says I should not say this but...

Don't you think these drinking games are dangerous? That's all we need, Flyertalkers going out on the road or wherever intoxicated and hurting someone or themselves!!!

My friend Catman says he does NOT want to be associated with a dangerous game with the remark that says something like "everytime someone kisses up to Catman after he cries - one drink."

Friends don't have to kiss up to friends and I hate people who try to kiss up to Catman or myself.

SO I will say it again.. let this be the LAST POSTING ON THIS TREAD!!

Stop the drinking! If you have to play this stupid game then drink something non alcoholic. Like water. Or PEPSI.

Have a MEOWY weekend.

COMMANDER CATCOP

Let this be the last post on this THREAD!

Seems like no-one takes any notice anymore when Catman tries to get the final post on a thread. OH NO - he might now threaten to resign again. Where is that drink?

A drink per post is no doubt an unhealthy idea. But, a good single malt on the rocks after a hard day of business travel is NEVER a bad idea

Sorry FOlks, But I have decided that there are people who are interested in what I have to say and care what I have to say.

I'm not going to threaten to resign anymore. IN fact the ONLY way I'll leave is if asked by Randy and the INside Flyer staff.

And put the drinks away. Unless it's PEPSI!

LET THIS BE THE LAST POST ON THIS TOPIC, OK EVERYBODY? AND NO "RIGHTS" OR SMILEY FACES!

Now Catman, you're a great guy & I love to read your posts, but I find it hard to reconsile your objection to a drinking game when you just wrote a trip report about seeing some guy singing about "Let's all get drunk and *****". Which, come to think of it, isn't really very practical advice!

Doesn't the same guy also sing about Margaritas (not Pepsi!)?

Then again, maybe it isn't inconsistent. I know when I hear that fellow's music, I am not inspired to drink but to run (far away from whatever is playing the song).

(Sorry, Catman, justing having some fun, I'm in a good mood since the Mets won tonight).

Since I'm thirsty anyway,
Please in the name of all that is holy, let this be the last post in this thread. I really really mean it. Even though I know that in the entire history of FlyerTalk, a plea like this has never worked, just this once please do not reply to this post and let it end a dignified death. It deserves that, don't you think?
