When Freddie is in NY, I'd like to take him for a well deserved day off. Do you think he'll enjoy Coney Island? From Coney he'll be able to see the planes depart/takeoff from JFK.

I'll be headed to INDY on Saturday 10/21 from White Plains NY. He should see the interior of America.

I had the honor of meeting Freddie tonight in Seattle. I also saw Arturo in a can (with mushrooms).

Freddie Jr. returned last night from a week trip to BKK. He is currently residing near Princeton, NJ. I received an e-mail from David last night advising me that he was going to be taking Freddie Jr. with him on a tyip next week and that we would shortly work out the handover.

If I get Freddie Junior from Vulcan this weekend, than I can bring him on my travels next week. I plan on seeing Flyertalkers PremEx, Ken_lin and Kokonutz. Who can see one of them to get it to Old Gold at TUS by October 26?

If it will fit in at all, I will be in Denver all week next week (Mon 10/16 through Thursday 10/19), and then back in Houston. I live just a few miles from IAH and can meet Old Gold there during his long layover the next week.

Paul, are you still looking for someone to do dinner that night?

Freddie Junior, as had been arranged months ago, is in the very capable hands of Old Gold.

Yours Truly delivered him personally at LAX yesterday. (Yes the same LAX with no radar all morning.)

A secret meeting of the MMM of flyertalk (Mischeivous, merrymaking men) took place yesterday (PBLTTTT to Punki and the WWW). PremEx, Kokonutz, Old Gold, Kyklin, and myself had dinner at The Proud Bird at LAX.

I leave it to Matt, and Paul to tell of their adventures flying with no radar yesterday, and Mark to tell of his 10 hour day at LAX waiting for them. He also has a picture to post.

The biggest news is a genuine Old Gold suitcase tag was made for Freddie Junior! We all decided he was old enough for body piercing, and Old Gold will do the honors to attach the tag.

Oh Yeah - I forgot

Freddie camde to LAX from EWR on CO 85 in seat 3B. Map update Koko???

Freddie Jr. is now at the World Headquarters of the South Tucson International Frequent Flyer Society,

He had to endure flight irregularities due to the ATC problems at LAX,, a center seat in coach for the 370 mile LAX-PHX run, and a 109 mile hop to TUS in a turboprop puddle-jumper. But at least he is here in time for Monday's S.T.I.F.F.S. meeting.

His Continent hopping will resume on Wednesday's departure to South America, for an additional 11,913 miles.

25 Oct. CO 1853 TUS-IAH, First Class, 1:30 pm 5:49 pm, 936 miles.

Dinner is scheduled in Houston with Flyertalker mws during the 4-1/2 hour layover.

25 Oct. CO 1651 IAH-LIM, BusinessFirst, 10:30 pm 5:03am, 3,133 miles
26 Oct. CO 733 LIM- SCL, BusinessFirst, 7:00 am 12:25 pm, 1,524 miles

From Santiago Freddie Jr. will travel south by Alamo Rental Car to Puerto Montt and Chiloe island, to what may be his southernmost point of his travels.

8 Nov. DL 146 SCL-ATL, BusinessElite 10:45 pm 6:20 am, 4,695 miles
9 Nov CO 1573 ATL-IAH, First Class, 10:04 am 11:08 am 689 miles
9 Nov. CO 1677 IAH-TUS, Coach, 11.57 am 1:25 pm (F/C waitlist) 936 miles.

Freddie Jr. and OldGold having endured a 9 hour "flight" from Tuscon to Los Angeles, and Koko having to endure almost the same from Reno was, I am certain, much more difficult than working away in the 1K Service Center for 10 hours. Besides, I now know everything there is to know about the 1K staff's families and lives. Now being a member of the "family," needing upgrade certificates was not an issue the next day for my flight out.

Here's the PHOTO NJDavid mentioned of Freddie with his much prized OldGold ionized metal luggage tag!

http://members.spree.com/travel/mattwald/

is now UPDATED including planned trips thru November 9

2 questions that are actually one question:

Who/how is Freddie getting from TUS to DUS between the 9th and the 11th?

Who wants to accompany Freddie as he passes 100,000 miles?

All it'll cost ya is a trip down to TUS to pick the boy up!!!!!
