Always good to hear from you, onefreeman.
Oztamps: usefulness of Marty's, my, yours, or anyone else's postd or place on FT is arguable (which you have been doing here quite well, I might add). To me, however, that is a wrong way to address the question beng asked here: Who said it? Why?
If you do not want to answer the question by not posting, that is a perfectly fine and legitimate option. People will judge (or have judged) Marty for the kind of person he is and the statement he made/makes- you do not need to worry about that. But if you do answer, I sincerely hope you give a honest and coherent response.

Very, very, very, wise heads on
these boards (male and female) have urged me a month or two back not to let these kind of threads drag on into continual responses, which I was once foolish enough to do. I have taken that excellent advice and thanked those FT'ers for it, who took a lot of their time to walk me through it...blah, blah, blah.

Methinks the gentleman doth protest too much.

OMNI for Counsellor and the OMNI AWARD WINNING JAILER! Hey boys! want to write my Broadway musical simply called: FLyertalk!!!
(All we need to do is get the "Jingle Cats" to do the tune for "The Ballad of Catman!" -- IN Gilbert and Sullivan style of course!)
The tunes are very funny indeed!

Nicely said, Opus! The G&S is being printed out as I speak for future enjoyment, and my silence on the rest of this mess (though difficult and strained) should also not be (mis)construed as support.
I see the soap opera continues.
-If nothing else, it makes it less difficult to be unable to check the boards regularly. (Not quite enough to warrant a "Thank you.")

I see a childish person who has broken a window, try to divert attention away from him/her self.
I see a simple issue of what is right and what is wrong.
I see a simple issue puting forward information so that readers can determine for themselves who has good character and who does not.
And I see several person's courageous and civic minded stance on these issues increase their standings in my eyes. While I see the other person's complete disregard of the issues at play here, just lower his/her standings in my eyes.

This thread has been in a state of blissful repose for over four years and, on balance, it still needs added rest. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator.
