Taking a Chat Break
Howdy. My name is Mark (yes, another one), and I'm a chataholic.
For everyone that enjoys the Community forum, I also highly recommend the Chat Room. I have "met" and really gotten to know a wide range of folks that would have otherwise remained relatively unknown had I only read Board posts. Time differences make most of your days my nights, but those with a negative image of Chat rooms in general (I've only ever been in two) should stop in and see who you run into.
Having said that, I am planning a break from Chat for pretty much the rest of September. I am moving offices tomorrow and taking command of an ailing department of my company, and the hours spent on FT will unfortuantely need to be cut back. "Some people are born with a life, others have a life thrust upon them" or some such nonsense, eh?
Anyway, thanks for the great times, and I will check back when I can!
Until tomorrow, then,
-KP
(Those afraid of wisecrack comment withdrawal can reach me at [email protected] as always.)

Piling on the kudos for chat, I usually log on only when I'm trapped at a RCC somewhere. Recently, I was stuck at LAX for 6 or so hours and logging on to chat led to a FT encounter with LAX local Onedog and my very first In and Out Burger.
Thanks again, Onedog and matchmaker ken!!!!

Mark,
Good luck fixing someone elses mess at work. Hope to see you in the chat room again soon.
By the by, I will also be doing a majour slowdown, but I am not sure when the new workload is going to start.
Best of luck Mark.

Kid! Say it ain't so!! I've been off a week because of business conflicts.. what a pity I won't be able to look forward to seeing you in chat... but take care. It'll probably do you good and we'll look forward to seeing you when you return!
