CJ2000: You're Invited!!

As some of you may know, El Gato Hombre and I will be heading to Cancun in June (CJ2000), and we'd just like to invite you all to join us! All the details can be found at http://ihtm.11net.com/cun.htm

Now, to entice you all to visit the website, there will be prizes for the first 10 people to sign up for the email list. There won't be much volume on the mailing list, but I set it up as an easy way to communicate to all interested of updates for the get-together. The prizes may be travel or non-travel related, I haven't decided 100% yet; and they may be customized for each of the first ten to sign up. I will post the winners here after the ten sign up. (Also, don't go by the counter to determine if you're the first ten, because there have already been greater than ten visits to the site.)

Good luck, and we hope you decide to come on down to Cancun in June!

Hubba Dubba! Nice website.

We would love to join you, but have an engagement in the south of France very close to that time. When we get our final travel dates to France, we'll let you know if we have the great privilege of joining you in Mexico! What fun.

Nice site Burkey. You and Catdude need to put Raeban in a corner at the -do in NYC and "convince" her that see needs to see Cancun in the summer! I can already smell the suntan lotion and the coco-locos...

Everyone, thanks for all the great comments, and visiting and signing up for the email list. Lots of you have visited the site, but there are still a few chances available to get a prize for signing up on the mailing list. Once all ten prizes are talke, I'll post the lucky people here.

I never thought I'd have to twist so many arms to get folks to just sign up for the email list... esp with all the recent conga's Anyway, there are still two more prizes available for the next two people that sign up. Prizes will be airline collectible related.

And, our international friends can participate too!!

CanadianHoneybun & CanadianFlyer have now confirmed that they'll be coming to Cancun!!

And more great news, CanadianFlyer told me about a $65/night rate (HotDeal) at the Westin Cancun. So any of you on-the-fencers, now's the time to book! To get that rate, goto www.westin.com, click on HotDeals, enter Cancun, and you should get it. You do need to book and pay in advance for that rate though.

Just check for those dates, and the website indicates nothing available in Hot Buys. Cheapest rate is $109.

I am not arriving until Sunday. I booked the hotel for arrival Sunday and departing Thursday at the $65.00 per night rate. This rate is STILL available (as of the time of this post) for these days.

It is NOT available for Saturday night.

SORRY for the confusion.

We have booked Westin Regina for Sat. ($78 USD/night) and Sun. through Tues. ($65). So looking forward to it.

As for plane arrangments, we will likely depart Friday night and reach Cancun Sat. morning and leaving Tues. afternoon. Will be using 100k AA miles for 2 1st class seats.
