THE OFFICIAL CAT-MAN-DO-2 FORUM

I am creating a new slug that will give you all the LATEST on my NYC get together OFFICIALLY CALLED "THE CAT-MAN-DO-2"

And in this space at 5pm I will announce the winning restaurant for the "DO."

SO in the spirit of a certain game show with too easy questions... I will as "WHO WANTS TO HOST THE CAT-MAN-DO-2?"

The question: After an exaustive and delicious search, this restaurant has out pawed all others to be the official site for the "CAT-MAN-DO-2 DINNER:"

Is it:

a. Peter Lugar's
b. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse
c. Sparks Steakhouse
d. Smith & Wollensky

Stay tuned for the answer.

Now a word from our sponsors: Fancy Feast, good taste a cat can recognize, and PetCO, where the pet's go

Hurrah hurrah - the real authentic Catman steak place as described by him when we flyertalk-veterans started discussing in summer 97!

(I think it is only 3-r streets and 4? avenues from my bed at the Waldorf-Astoria - is it?)

Rudi, it is centrally located and near several subway lines so everyone can walk casually (well after a late night drink and maybe cigars?) back to their nice comfy beds!

And I to my heavenly bed at teh Essex house!

Purrrfect choice Catman (your last choice, from "Part One", The West Bank was great too!) Looking forward to seeing everyone in NYC next month, and those that will be in MSY this weekend.

Ok, I'm really getting into this party!

SO I created a Web Site:
http://home.att.net/~m.blanchards/12.cat-man-do-2.html

Some special thanks...

My bestest buddy Wes for his editorial advice and always ready to support me (he's a member of my "Inner Circle" of closest friends)

Another bestest buddy wanderlust for his moral support and having faith in me!

BIG BRUDDAR PREMEX FOR HIS Web Site design advice (giving credit where credit is due: The sheepdude created that LOGO on the main page!)

But PremEx, I don't remember where you got that picture of me wearing a silver grown and crown... although the PIP is a bit hazy!

That is one H-E-double-toothpicks of a web site, CATMAN! And it had to be... it must have been... Ruth's Chris! The only, the favorite, the CATMAN palace for the Cat-man-do Cat-astrophe! I can't wait!

And the web site... oh my...!

one more time "medium rare"

OK now I think I'm ready.... I can't wait.

A prince among his peers, Catman has outdone even himself this time. Kudos on your website and organizational skills...now if we could just work on that Pepsi.
We don't have a Ruth's Chris in Montral, we've got Moishe's, Gibby's, Le Bifteck and Le Queue de Cheval. To the utter consternation of most, I always get my Delmonico BLUE and my horseradish HOT! On occassion the establishment has asked me to sign a waiver absolving them of any responsibility. "Responsibility for what?" I usually query. "Poor taste!" is often the answer. I take it that way nonetheless.

FYI: If you are on the Do's Mailing list you
should have received an e-mail with an attachment for the menu for Sazarak House's SUNDAY BRUNCH.

It's from E-Fax. if you don't have E-Fax (as Burkey reminded me) you can't see the menu. SO I also sent it in text form.

Let me know if there are ANY problems.
