Hi all,

I thought I would take WDWmom2's (hi there!) thread as a chance to introduce myself as well. I'm new and found out about this site because of the famous Pudding Guy/Healthy Choice FF story. I love this place so far!

A question for Yix, or for anyone out there:
I'm familiar with the fact that Pudding Guy was featured in media pieces all over creation for his feats. Yet I wasn't aware that those news stories specifically highlighted a link with FlyerTalk.

When Yix (and I've seen others on the board say the same) says "I found out about this site because of the famous Pudding Guy/Healthy Choice FF story." what exactly is meant? Where was the connection?

I think it's great - it obviously attracts likeminded FF fanatics to the conversation.

Well, for me, the email that was forwarded to the mailing list I was on had a link to flyertalk to see actual pictures of the certificates. At least, I think that was it. I have since deleted the email, so I'm not sure. However, if I remember correctly, the person who forwarded the email is known for doublecheck sources on stories like that, so he may have found flyertalk in some sort of web search.
