Sounds like a truly wonderful weekend was had by all. And switching an empty bottle for a full one- I don't know how often that will work! Way to help out those poor neighbors!

Take two aspirin, drink plenty of fluids (naturally, NON-alcoholic) and rest in bed.

Bill will arrive via email! Get well soon!

I give this report FOUR PAWS UP and a free dinner at the Metropolitan Grill.

I do plan to come back Punki and Joe if only:
*To take the wheel of your boat again!
*To go to the Metropolitan grill and have this famous steak that Rudi and everyone else things is better than my Ruth's Chris.

I am so jeolous. Sounds like a great time was had by all. Now I really wish my company hadn't changed my plans so I could have made it.

RichG,

Now that explains why they never eat the wineglasses at Jewish weddings. My best friend's nephew did, however, eat the candles from his cousin's bat mitzvah birthday cake, but he was only 3 so he probably didn't have all the rules down quite yet.

Baze, I think our 3rd drink...no maybe it was the 4th...umm...well I'm not sure, but it was in your honor, for being there in spirit.

WOW, what a fun time! A great report by Punki as well. Does she write for the local Seattle newsrag too?

I'm sure Punki will understand my tardiness in my contribution to the trip report when I explain that it was primarily caused by a certain individual in New Jersey.

How could I possibly compete with Punki's fantastic review of both days? About the only thing she left out was Jackie's (Shadow's wife) tennis match of trying to figure out whether auh2o or I would make a better mate for her daughter. If I recall correctly, she determined that auh2o is the more ideal match...which was precisely her worry. But she thought I was such a "nice boy." 'Course, she also wasn't around to hear my earlier quip on the boat.

Of course, what might have added to her concern was the immediate...um...reaction of auh2o to TravelWeary's daughter's appearence at the lunch. Boyfriend in tow or not, it was quite amusing to watch the drool slowly slip down his chin. Incidentally, I'm beginning to wonder if he should change his handle from auh2o to c2h6 (that's ethanol, for the uninitiated) after the quantity of imbibing I saw. For such a skinny guy, he can really put 'em away. I lost count at 27. Or so.

Punki, I must thank you and Joe for a truly spectacular day on the salt water of Elliot Bay. And for all of your compliments. And the dinner at Tillicum Village. And, most importantly, the AS FC upgrade certificates!Wow...you did so much, and asked for so little in return.

DTTB and newself, the mimosas were perfect that morning. And I'm so glad you brought the muffins...they made such great bribing material!

Auh2o, I may make fun of you, but I can't help but thank you for providing me with more material than Dan Quayle provided Jay Leno.

With people like that around here, it has become clear that...we are one sick bunch!

mweiss, tell me! TELL ME!!! Who is this individual from N.J?

I hope it isn't a certain buddy of yours with a tendency to shed!

It was good seeing you again, and I hope to see you again very soon!
