Oh yeah, most of you probably don't know what I look like. I'm 6'1" with red hair. I'll probably wear a white British Airways First shirt.

Hunnybear and I will be in LA Sunday and could possibly make Sunday Brunch at the Queen Mary if there is still room. Is it a go?

I believe so. Several of us have committed for the Queen. We'll finalize things tomorrow.

Legends it is, around noon tomorrow and to finalize Brunch with the Queen on Sunday. I'm looking forward to finally meeting some of the Frequent FlyerTalkers!

PS Don't forget to pick up your California State Super Lotto tickets prior to the libations. We may be having too much fun later in the day to remember. One dollar could land you up to nearly $45 Million!!! Although, after participating on this board for nearly three months, I really believe that some of us would rather take the payout in 45 million miles, instead!

We had a nice lunch at Legends with ranles, premex, kyklin, arturo, mrlimo and myself. We meet downtown at the Cohiba Room at 7pm tonight and the Queen Mary Sunday at 12:30.

Arturo showed up????? Who is this person???

Maybe he did because he knew CMDR CATCOP was NOT going to be there.

Anyway, I'm glad you all are having a good time and I hope to get to Long Beach eventually.

Hunnybear and I are HERE and will JOIN you for the Queen Mary fiesta! (Columbian coffee is now being served on the port side...)

Do I need to call the restaurant and add us to the reservation or do you already have enough spots?

We're looking forward to making FIRST CONTACT with fellow FlyerTalkers!

Yes Arturo is here and he was at the previous LB party. I just got home and left him at the Tiki room with Mr. Limo and Brea the bartender.

No worries at the Queen. Just meet us there at 12:30 and look for the tall guy with red hair.

Catman: I can't understand your curiosity on behalf or arturo: arturo can be seen at DJDavid's photo gallery for a long time already:

and please (everybody): never reveal arturo's other identity - I am satisfied if arturo just posts, yes I am at the PiP (etc) - I will just believe it. That's it!

Rudi, you are correct... but you know that Cats are curious. Even though that has KILLED the cat!

And please DO NOT reveal Arturo's identity. Let it be the best keep secret of FlyerTalk!

Rudi/Catman-

That is three posts each under a topic for a party that neither of you plan to attend!

Arturo WHO? ? ? ? Not to worry, Catman and others. Shhhhh, mum's the word. I'll never tell and neither will Brea, our lovely Bartender.

Too much fun, too much fun! . . . It was such a pleasure, at long last, to finally meet such a fine diverse group of FlyerTalkers. My first face-to-face meeting. And to do it on the same day I shed my "Junior" status made it that much better! Even better than double-dipping or bonus miles. Thanks everyone that attended, I really enjoyed it.

What a great afternoon and evening! Good food, good drink, good company, good views! I can't wait to get to brunch today on the Titanic just to find out if AuH20 ended up sleeping in a park, a drunk tank, his car, a hotel, a lovely bartender's apartment, or...god forbid...he somehow made it home. I think that Mr. Limo may be the only one with answers (I'm sure AuH20 won't remember), as I think he was the last one to see him alive.

thank you ranles for paying attention and even counting my posters (this is now my #4 under this topic). I take it as a compliment!

* yes I am sooooo jealous that I was not there!
* may be, that my posting #1 here, allows you early planning and to be there on sep-9 (together with Old Gold and who else?)

Stimpy et al,

Sorry I couldn't get to Long Beach by noon. My company's national sales meeting in San Diego didn't end until 11am. It was suppose to be over by nine. Got to the 405 and 710 around 1:30pm.

Hope everyone had a good time.

P.S. And truthfully, I was suffering from a case of post-tequila syndrome
