Just learned of your Long Beach PiP a few moments ago. Count me in, please. The name is Limo, MRLIMO, that is--party of one or two. Long Beach as in LGB, I presume?

How about a Sunday morning Brunch included in your planning? There are some excellent ones in the area! Just a thought, to jump-start the day, "California style."

Looking forward to learning the details. And Catman, not to worry, the California Department of Visas just informed me you are still a member in good standing in spite of your pending no show in Long Beach! Will see the rest of you June 5th and 6th or on the lovely island of Oahu in November, if not sooner?

The best Sunday brunch is on the Queen Mary. It's about $20-30 I think, but well worth it.

LGB has a lot of flights now. AA is planning to ad ORD soon.

Stimpy,

I'm driving back to LA from a San Diego business meeting, on Sunday morning. I'll be heading up the 405, and will therefore pass through Long Beach. Is there a specific itinerary for Sunday setup?

No specific itineraries yet and I'm worried that we won't finalize Sunday's schedule til Saturday night.

Unless folks want to agree to the Queen Mary at say noonish for brunch? If so, we need to get a list together of all serious attendees so I can make a reservation.

One firm and one tentative Sunday Brunch reservations on The Queen Mary, please. Excellent choice, by the way. The name is Limo, MRLIMO, that is. Please advise of the exact time. Thank You!

PS Just received the Sunday Brunch menu via FAX and it is incredible! Well worth the $28 (plus tax and gratuity, of course).

OK, since a few of us have met at Legends already, why don't we meet there again for lunch on June 5th?

Legends is a famous sports pub on the popular 2nd street strip in the Belmont Shore's neighborhood. It's about 5-10 minutes in a taxi from Long Beach Airport. The number for Legends is 562-433-5743

Belmont Shores is a couple of miles east along the coast from downtown Long Beach where most of the hotels are. There are also a few hotels by the airport. Marriott and Holiday Inn come to mind. But all the action is downtown or in Belmont Shores.

During lunch, we can discuss options for Saturday night and Sunday Brunch although the Queen Mary sounds like the winner for brunch.
I can give an early recommendation for Pine Street downtown Saturday night. It has plenty of wonderful clubs. One of my favorites is Allegria. It's an authentic Spanish Tapas bar with Flamenco dancing.

Sound good to everyone?

Whatever you folks decide is fine with me. By the by, Cheri, her kid and I will be taking off for our 5-day trip to Wallet Disney World tommorrow (Sat) and I will be without electronic communications of any kind. So please keep this in mind if you have a head count or something while I'm gone. I won't be back 'til Wednesday, so count me in for whatever. See 'ya real soon.

Even though I am going to miss my hometown PIP next weekend, I just wanted to let everyone know that the annual Cajun/Zydeco festival will be going on in Long Beach on the 5th and 6th down at Shoreline Village.

That will give you something else to see while visiting our great city. Don't forget to visit 2nd St in Belmont Shore! Have fun, I will miss meeting all of you, and I will look forward to the next one. Hopefully, I can free up some time to start visiting the other PIP's in your hometowns soon.

Please mark Ken & Danielle down for lunch on Saturday @ Legends. Will be heading back to Boston on the red-eye and miss Sunday's activities.
