Is there a refund when the world's longest flight is only 17.5 instead of the advertised 18.5. I moved from the solo seat to my own set of 4. Can't lie down but more armroom and legroom

I posted details about drinks for Friday night to the wiki, There is no reservation, but there are always plenty of tables open outdoors.

I suspect I will not make it to drinks and will just head straight to Newton Hawker Center.

For anyone that is en-route and planning to party, can you please PM me or just pick up a bottle of liquor from duty free on arrival in SIN.

My wife and I are currently in the air on UA29 and luckily have an open middle seat in Y+. Estimated to land around 8:20 PM local time.

Recommend you purchase an EZLink card at train station or 711. Costs $12.00 of which $5 is a non-refundable fee. Worth it alone for the convenience of not having to purchase a ticket for every trip you take. The card is good for five years.

If anyone is staying a few days, I recommend getting a Hi! Tourist Singtel SIM card. It costs $18 and includes a SIM card with 100GB of data and 500 local and 30 international mins, and the card itself is an EZ link card for the MRT with $3 preloaded (enough to get you into the city). It also comes with a free round trip cable car to Santosa island. So when you add all these, it’s quite a good deal. You can get it at convenience stores at the Airport such as Cheers on the departure level.

Oh, and there’s also 1GB of data roaming to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia. So if we do a day trip tomorrow it could come in handy.

Australia Opal Cards

I brought 2 Opal cards with 4+A$ on each. If you are going to Sydney, you can have them.

Yes, the weather took a turn for the worse since mid day, yesterday. This was the view from my room Wednesday and today.

Interested in the day trip, but isn’t getting to Johor Bahru a pain? The Woodlands crossing seems like a mess from the google reviews I am reading.
