With much fanfare, the Singapore Do is back again in 2019! This venerable DO, the longest Asian DO on Flyertalk, has been uniting Flyertalkers all over the world since the early 2000s.
In 2018, the DO was given a complete makeover, with more structured activities and dining to reflect the diversity of Singapore. 2019 will not be different, with similar activities on the planning table.

I got in the HX deal, and will be travelling in and out of BKK Jan 9-25.
I will have to arrange my business meetings so that I get into SIN for the right dates, and should also be good for the BKK post-do.
Looking forward to being there for some of the festivities.
edit - just booked my flights - I'll be arriving around 10:00 PM on the 18th, so will miss the festivities that day.

We have started rolling out a new computer system with the first location going live Nov. 5. It's not going well and I am being told I should probably be around from January through March. This puts a terrible crimp in my travel plans. So, put me down as not likely, but I am not cancelling my tickets, just in case something changes.

Didn’t have the SIN Do on my list for 2019, but things changed and a reasonable J fare from Italy popped up with perfect flight times.
I couldn’t resist and I’m happy seeing so many known users again (and also new ones) in Singapore during the Do.
I will only make it to the SIN portion, arriving 18th afternoon, leaving 20th very late evening.
Probably staying at the Intercontinental in intension for using my ambassador free weekend voucher.
See you in two months.....

SQ has flights as low as $988 in premium economy from LAX though its R fare so no Alaska points but does credit to UA for example

At any rate flying over on CX F - arriving SIN on the 16th. At this point, booked to leave BKK on the 27th, but may change that ticket to a later date. Having to cut my trip a little shorter than usual because of sick pup.
