Nothing against Muthu's (I enjoyed it when we went in 2017) but I'm not in the mood for it tomorrow -- am thinking of a ramen place I walked past today which looked interesting:

planning on going to the Tanjong Pagar location around noon tomorrow.
note: if you search for it on Google Maps it puts the pin in I think the wrong place. My memory is much closer to where Yelp has it, which is around the corner from something called Duxton Medical Clinic:

in any case the discrepancy isn't too far apart.

I sincerely apologize if this seemed in any way a swipe at the organizers, it was not intended as such. At the same time, I don't think it's realistic to expect everyone's going to want to do exactly the same thing for the entire weekend, so I don't see what the harm is in posting about other possibilities.And if I end up by my lonesome that's completely fine too
Will not hold it against anyone.And BTW just to be clear I don't blame anyone in the group for what transpired at dinner. The food was great, but the waiter was clearly out of his depth.

Free admission to their cultural center/ museum. They have a solid setup.

We're going to change dinner plans for tonight for someplace that isn't exclusively seafood. I'll post the updates shortly.
