No, they would not — and I can vouch for that...

...no one has yet offered to pay me to go see a country music concert.

No, you pay for OTHER people (who you don't like) to go. Duh.

Not looking too good for me making it Thursday. Things have yet to settle down on campus so I don't know if I can sneak out or not yet. Most likely not, due to some faculty members mistakenly believe I can just produce computers out of thin air.

Sorry to hear that. I hear Apple is working on it, though.

I forgot all about this and that I confirmed. Luckily I cancelled my china trip but who know how long it will take AA to process the refund request I submitted online. At least UA would process it over the phone vs sending to some department that is probably super busy. Sadly only a minor schedule change on my November trip. I guess there is always still hope.

Well, now I definitely won't be able to make the beginning. But could perhaps make it there by 7:30-8pm.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Sigh, I have decided that the strike has come to an end. First, because I don't remember the terms of the strike. Second, because I forgot the expression, "never argue with someone who buys ink by the barrel." Clearly, that applies on the internet, also, particularly for those who have input power on TalkMail. I therefore tip my hat to Canarsie and promise a more interesting name in three months.

I have faith in you.

I regret that I will not be able to attend, as I had a good time on that rainy night five years ago...

^ I've gone a few times now, and I still feel like a newbie at these.
