Just getting to see this post. We live in Philly near the Art Museum, but we will be in England on the 11th and unfortunately will miss this "event". As a local, M&S would be one of the last places we would ever go to. Fortunately, Center City Sips (summer Wednesdays Happy Hours) will be over and there are many places to go to where you will be able to get some good drinks and food at fair prices for a world class city! We haven't been to all of them, but could recommend some in different areas of Center City, ex, Society Hill, Penns Landing, Rittenhouse, Art Museum, Olde City, Mid-Town, etc. Wherever you do decide to go to, please enjoy Philly. It is a GREAT city and has come a long way.

Maybe 6 PM to give people a chance to get there.

I would not be adverse to meeting some folks somewhere sooner. I have met a few already. I am out Labor Day week but will be here the following weeks.
