July 30, 2016 ALASKA BBQ DO

What are you bringing?
  • AKronin: Seasonal Summer Salad
  • BOB W: Marinated Tri-Tip and BBQ pork ribs
  • BOB W: Grilled vegetable and Isreali Couscous salad
  • ctporter: Scalloped potatoes
  • mblair13: Side dish
  • beckoa: Potato Mac Salad, Pineapple Salsa, 10# Panettone
  • violist: pork with green peppers (could make something else if requested)
  • AKDan: Dessert
  • GRALISTAIR: A nice bourbon
  • ANC RED-EYE: chips and guac + a dessert (also could make something else as needed).
  • nomadic.relief a mediocre bottle of Okanagan red + white (couldn't bear the thought of really good o smashing) and some sort of snack/munchie food!

    random red wine

BTW -we did not run out of food!! ^

I took the bottles to the recycle center this morning. I counted at least 17 bottles, including the magnum that sacrificed themselves Saturday night.

ok, I obviously have no experience with these events, but that seems to beg the question about whether "lightweight" refers to number of attendees or number of bottles of wine consumed (granted those are likely related, but still ...)

I don't know. All were drinking wine still when I left so do not know if the Woodford got opened. If not I am sure Bob will enjoying sipping it on those long Alaska winter nights. ^
