Since it isn't in the survey, I assume it won't be organized by the DO organizers. Is anyone already in charge of organizing it? I assume it's a good idea to coordinate and book in advance.

For the people who are on MH754 and staying at the Ren and riding in my group on the van (as previously confirmed with me, since I believe it is now full): can you please apply for the Cambodian eVisa in advance, to save some time on arrival, so that we can keep the group together and not have to wait for visa-on-arrival procedures?

https://www.evisa.gov.kh/

For the people who are on the flight, but not riding with me in the van: please feel free to do as you wish, apply for the eVisa or just apply on paper upon arrival. Remember to bring passport photos if you're applying on paper.

FYI, I just stepped off a KUL-SIN flight, and were put through some pretty stringent arrival security check. They've been doing this for some flights from around the region, but this is definitely new for KUL. I'm not sure what exactly the arrangements are on this, but please take note if you are planning on an extremely tight connection for KUL-xSIN-XYZ.

Where they direct you through the holding gate and xray inbound? I haven't seen that done in a while, so must be some new "concerns" they have at the moment. I also noticed they are still using the infra red temperature cameras at many gates.

For anyone that is going to be attending that hasn't submitted the events survey, please answer the following items...

Hotel for DO:
Post DO Attendee:
Friday Lunch:
Friday Drinks:
Saturday Trip to Klang:
Saturday Dinner:
Sunday Lunch(Indian Food):

Also, I'll be adding a spreadsheet with the attendees for each event tomorrow afternoon, and adding some of the missing addresses in. Also, regarding Klang, I'll be posting the plans for getting there now that I know how many attendees there will be.

They have machines set up outside the holding rooms, but they are essentially the same ones as the ones used outbound. They are regularly used for some inbound flights, e.g. DPS, although this is the first time I've seen it done for KUL flights.

It's also interesting that the metal detector machines/gates used in SIN are not as sensitive as Malaysian ones. I can keep my webbing belt and plastic-based watch on and walk straight through the SIN gates, but they would always set off the ones in Malaysia.
