Are there any more happy hours planned for KC? I just missed the Bar-B-Que Do and also never noticed when this thread was started in Jan. I'd love to meet up with fellow in town FT'ers and discuss upcoming and past vacations, trips, and other topics of interest. I just realized I was not getting the monthly FT newsletter so I didn't get notification of the Bar-B-Que and the KC happy hour.
Hopefully there will be some upcoming happy hours. Weather is nice to meet at places with nice outdoor patios. I'm not going anywhere until Sept. 5, off to a vacation in Canada.

I will be at a conference at the Marriott at Country Club Plaza from July 30- August 2nd. I know I have a Friday night dinner to go to, but I think I am free for dinner Saturday night, as long as it doesn't go too long. Or lunch on Sunday before I head back to the airport.

Viajero: keep the weather in mind. Please don't pick a place with a patio if it will be 95 outside. I need my AC in the summer in KC!
Try not to go too far south. Friday afternoon rush hour traffic on 435 is so horrendous until after 6:00. It's bad enough that coming from Brookside/midtown, I won't go out south until later in the evening.

Would Urban Table work for you guys?
In the same shopping center there's also a BRGR, or a Johnny's Tavern if we want to move somewhere else.
