Will they still have booze for sale? (since you mentioned BYOB)

no they do not, that is why I asked the owner if the town would let them have a BYOB dinner.
(plus after hosting a number of FT dinners, the check, especially with a larger group can get messy to figure out with some who drank, drank a lot, or drank nothing)
It is more than likely that pre-pay of some method (paypal, chase, check) will be required as I don't want to chase folks down at the seminar who haven't paid (& if I don't mandate pre-pay there will be those who will take advantage, sorry to say it just seems to be human nature).
I'm all for a nearby tavern, not much in the area as most know that host hotel is really in an industrial area. I'll scout around, just don't expect a Ritz Carlton type bar

Restaurant sounds interesting. To make your life easier, I'd be glad to PayPal the amount for dinner, soda/coffee and a nice tip in advance to hold the spot since the place is staying open for us.
What would you think about an after-party at a nearby tavern so the group can chat there rather than keeping the restaurant open too long.

I love periogi & goulash! I'm not going to attend the dinner as I'll be at the hotel in the restaurant, bar, hallways selling charity raffle tickets, but I'd be willing to pay the $10 if someone would bring a doggy bag back to the hotel.
BTW - my able assistant, poptarts, is planning on attending the dinner & will be bringing raffle tickets to sell.
Cheers.

Hey all,
I was hoping to get to the restaurant today to finalize exactly how many people they can accept for dinner & what total cost will be per person, but my day just didn't allow. The restaurant is closed on Sunday.
I will go over at lunchtime on Monday and finalize things, of course will then post on the board as well as how to pay.

Journey4Happy = definite
+2 = maybe (I've got cousins - husband/wife - near Chicago that I'm trying to convince to come through).
