Flyertalk Chicago Seminars Dinner Do - Sat Oct 18
 

I'm in the midst of planning a dinner for Saturday night of the Seminars.

I HOPE to have a dinner very close to the host hotel, so an easy shuttle ride for those that do not have cars.

This thread will serve as a placeholder for those that might be interested. (by posting your name, you are only indicating you might be interested in attending an off-site dinner).

This dinner would start about an hour after the last seminar of the day.

ALL ARE WELCOME. You do not have to be attending the Seminars in order to attend dinner.

Update on possible restaurant venue:
There is a Polish restaurant about 1 miles north of the host hotel. They normally close at 5pm on Saturdays but I spoke with the owner and she would be willing to stay open for our group, it is a small place so she wants to cap the number of attendees at ~35 which we are very close to.
Food served would be a couple types of perogi, soup, goulash, this would be done buffet style. The owner is also looking into if the township will allow BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze). Please advise if you are still interested in this type of dinner.

ok, thanks to the above for responding, I'll start an interested, maybe, no can Do list.

Once a venue is determined, I'll PM everyone that has shown interest w/details.

Also depending upon # of attendees, this may be a pre-pay menu as whenever I've planned larger Do's, the bill gets complicated, especially if alcohol is involved. I'm trying to find a BYOB place so that those that want to drink can bring their own.

PS: I can be jaded sometimes so I can understand if anyone is thinking pre-pay means Willie makes some $ somehow, that is not the case as I hope those who have attended dinners in the past can attest.
