Wow, that was fast!
Zoe would like to pass along her thanks to her thoughtful SS, Jax.
My wife sent me some photos. Zoe went through her usual "new stuff" cycle of...
Cautious inspection:

Confusion/distrust:

Scrambling around, going nuts and loving everything:

Wonderful gifts, she's enjoying them all. Thanks!

Atlas would like to thank his Secret Santa for his new Tuff Tug toy that arrived yesterday. He LOVES it! I wasn't home to see him open the package but my wife sent this picture.

This is what Atlas does with his toys when he first gets them.

Jax says you are welcome! They are his favorite things. I have (had) three cats and the fleece stick was their favorite. Fortunately no one ate the fleece fabric. I did have a cat who at the plastic end cap off of a flash drive when no one was looking. It took us 3 Vets, 2 emergency clinics, 5 days, her losing 3 pounds and nearly dying to find the right vet who gave her the correct diagnosis. She had life saving surgery and that fiasco cost me $2800 due to all the num nuts who didn't find the issue at the start. There is a whole Omni thread I started on that drama. The reason I only have one cat right now is when my son moved he took the two kitty girls Coco and Sasha and I kept Jax. So my cats eat plastic, not fabric so the sticks are safe here.
My cats go nutz over that mouse on the wire too. I guess I need to start saying cat since two moved out of state but I still consider them mine. I love cats, I think I want another one.

Zoe is quite adorable!

Santa Paws came today for Jax! I will let the pictures tell you.
What is dis stuff?

Sniff!

For me? (yes I am cross-eyed)

No action shots, they were all too blurry because he was having so much fun playing with everything. Jax says thank you for the presents to Secret Santa Paws. Jax is a very sweet Snowshoe Siamese with pretty blue eyes.

a technical difficulty ;-)
How do you explain to a cat the concept of giving?
There is a rather large box in the living room right now where I am assembling the various items that will be sent out to some good little pets for Christmas. Problem is there is some (catnip) in there, and Cat #1 believes all of that addictive substance belongs to him and him alone.
I'm hoping I can get the gifts organized and shipped before his claws make it through double layers of cardboard, otherwise he might end up on Santa Paws naughty list!
