Chubbs apologizes for the delay. She states that her lazy owner didn't leave his bed for a week because of the flu no matter how hard she bit him. She's very hopeful that Goldie will get her goodies soon.
Of note, she also refuses to pose on her new favorite scratching board, but will sit next to it. http://i.imgur.com/xUuOPKg.jpg?1 Chubbs is gorgeous! I love how Chubbs only allows the photo on her terms, typical cat! |

We hope Chubbs' companion will recover quickly from the bite wounds (and the flu!)
What is that on the scratchy box? We've been wondering if it was a cat treat or a square of butter (there was one vote for a Scrabble Tile, but there's no letter on it ;)) Inquiring minds want to know. |
Mom just put me on the Naughty List for chewing on the Christmas tree.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...0-img-0126.jpg It was retaliation for making me wear this hat. |

Catnip Christmas!
Reporting in on Santa Paws' gifts to Triple Trouble.
Just before Christmas Eve, a box with 3 "Good Kitty" stockings was received. Christmas morning, we all had breakfast around the tree and opened our presents. Being Alpha Cat, Washington got first pick: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...8-img-0127.jpg He chose the one with the wand toy: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...1-img-0128.jpg But what else was in the stockings?! So much catnip that even Twinkle noticed! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...7-img-0134.jpg At this point we began to suspect that Santa Paws might be of the canine persuasion. You see, Santa sent the catnip equivalent of Maui Wowie, the equivalent of about 2 kilos of Maui Wowie per cat! Even Twinkle, who doesn't usually indulge in recreational pharmaceuticals, gave it a try. Then he had to go sit behind the tree until the room stopped spinning. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...4-img-0135.jpg And what's the #1 side effect of recreational pharmaceuticals? The munchies! Santa Paws must be a gourmet, because Washington's stocking had calamari cat treats. Washington gave eating one his best shot, but Twinkle thought it looked like a piece of string and wanted to play with it. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...7-img-0139.jpg Hershey believes in Clean Living and does not "indulge". She took the toy mouse from her stocking and retreated under the coffee table to play in peace. As we couldn't get a photo of her yesterday, we'll include her formal holiday portrait: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...0-img-0192.jpg Thanks, Santa Paws! |

LOL, Maui Wowie???
Washington had about a quarter teaspoon and was "stoned" for about half the day. He enjoyed the gift very much. Maui Wowie may be an understatement. :D |

Ever seen what a snack of high grade catnip does to a susceptible feline?

Here is Jax modeling his Christmas sweater. He was very mad and indignant in this photo. What you can't see is that his tail is doing I am very mad swish. He was obviously plotting his escape. About a minute or two after this photo was taken he extracted himself from the red yarn torture thingie. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...-sweater-1.jpg |
