Sorry I'll miss you all tonight. Had a super long day coming from Europe yesterday and need the rest. Too bad, too, as I brought back a large suitcase of rare Belgian beers, including some Westvleteren.

Would loved to have made it tonight, but something's come up and I'm going to have to pass, unfortunately. Hope everyone has a great time, and hope to be there for the next one!

Looking forward to seeing you all. BTW, no need to "pre-register" if you want to come. Just show up.

Boston Fall/Winter Do?

Hey all! I'm clearly a FT lurker, but definitely not a noob--I've even met Marathon Man, if that means anything.

I'm new to Boston (moved here from a small-town MS oasis, sad) and ready to meet some fellow MSers. Keeping my fingers crossed for a Boston fall/winter gathering, since I just missed the summer one.

well your first problem is that you met me. Now you are tainted forever and ruined.

But all that said, I will shoot an email to some people who know people and we can all meet up if you wish.

I think i'm going to head there earlier in the day. I'm assuming that will put the sun to my back if i try to take a panoramic photo of the city from East Boston.

Plans changed. later than usual. Bus never showed. Had to pay for both a bus ticket and commuter rail. Getting a late start could have slept in

Just an FYI, the extra $50 was donated to Rosie's Place. Thanks to everyone!
