Seattle meetup interest?
 

Hi all,
Just wanted to ping the community here and see if there's interest in a FlyerTalk get-together in Seattle. I'd love to meet some more local travelers and FTers.

Options:

• Happy Hour
• Dinner
• Full-on Party

Lots of great choices for the first two options in Seattle. For the third, I have access to an indoor party space with full kitchen and an outdoor deck if we want to use it.

Sure. I would be happy to meet for Happy Hour - downtown Seattle? I don't drive so would prefer I can get there by walking or bus.

I work near olive 8, around most of the rest of the year

Well, Halloween is now over and we have a few weeks before the next holiday.

It looks to me like a weekend event is definitely in order, and possibly another weekday event if that's easier for the people who work downtown and may live elsewhere.

Date: How does next weekend (11/9, 10) or the weekend after (11/16, 17) look for folks?
Possible Locations and times:
El Gaucho, Belltown, 4 pm - 6 pm
Tap House Grill, Downtown (6th and Pine)
RN74, Downtown (4th and Pike), Saturday 4 - 6pm
Tanaka San, Belltown
Frolik, Downtown, Red Lion Hotel (5th and Pike)

Next weekend would work great for me. wrt venue, I vote for Tap House Grill.

The 9th or 10th would be perfect.
I actually work until 4:00/5:00 on that weekend, so I might miss happy hour. But perhaps I'd be there in time for dinner.

Starting on 11/9 I will be out of town for the rest of the month. So unless the next event happens in December, I will have to pass this time. You guys have fun. :)

Sunday, November 10th, @ Tap House Grill downtown (near 6th Ave and Pine)
4 pm - 6ish or so (Happy hour runs until closing)

Hey folks! Looks like it'll be Mats, Slipless, myself, ldsant, and maybe one or two others this Sunday. I'll be upstairs at 4 pm, the first few of us can grab a table or spot at the bar downstairs for any later comers.

Feel free to text me when you're close. I'll probably be wearing a red North Face jacket. You can conveniently see what I look like from my trip report photo.

Thanks! I was just thinking of how much I would like to get together again. It's much easier for me to come up on weekends (Saturday or Sunday evenings). But I can see about adjusting my schedule if another day works better.

Yes it would be great to meat again! Weekends work better for me as well, but I could also make workday evenings work, except Mondays and Tuesdays.

I should be in town in mid-January and would be up for a weeknight happy hour kind of thing if it's happening. Thanks!

I'm in town through January 5, could the first weekend of January count as "early?" :D

I get back to town on the evening of the 2nd.

I can do something after 7:00/7:30 on the 3rd, or any time the 4th or 5th.

I would really like to meet up again! I will be in PHX mid-January for my usual week there so anytime before the 12th works for me! Looking forward to it!
