Seattle meetup interest?
Hi all,
Just wanted to ping the community here and see if there's interest in a FlyerTalk get-together in Seattle. I'd love to meet some more local travelers and FTers.
Options:
Lots of great choices for the first two options in Seattle. For the third, I have access to an indoor party space with full kitchen and an outdoor deck if we want to use it.
Please chime in if you'd be interested in attending!

Sure. I would be happy to meet for Happy Hour - downtown Seattle? I don't drive so would prefer I can get there by walking or bus.

Great. Downtown area was the plan. I'll PM you to work out details, then post them here.
Other Seattle folks, feel free to join us, and keep chiming in if you'd like to meet in the future.

Hi Skyeg,
Perfect timing as I'll be heading overseas on the 19th. Let's do Happy Hour on the 18th if that works for you. Maybe ldsant can join us.

No worries ldsant, we'll catch you next time.
We're going to start with drinks @ Olive 8 this Friday, late night (probably 9:30 pm on). If other Seattle folks want to join us, feel free and send me a PM for my cell #

Glad you 're getting a Seattle meet going..
Am at a mini FT Amanjunkie gathering in HKT , Amanpuri later this week - see Luxury Hotels forum
Any Huskies too?
Will be great to meet up sometime , my PM box is getting full & trying to sort out but not good when jet lagging
You may PM me tho' as I think it will take another or 2 - test system.
But need to save some pm space for the Amanjunkie FTers to connect

Please keep me in the loop. I live in Tacoma, so sometimes weekends are easier. I'll be out of the country until the 6th of November.

Glad to see some more folks jumping in! Skyeg and I had a good happy hour meetup at Olive 8.
I'll reach out to a few of you and try to organize another get-together after Halloween.

Well, Halloween is now over and we have a few weeks before the next holiday.
There's:
ldsant
FlyerEC (freshly returned from Amanpuri?)
Mats - prefers weekends, after 11/6
98103
Slipless - prefers weekends
buschoi
lalala
It looks to me like a weekend event is definitely in order, and possibly another weekday event if that's easier for the people who work downtown and may live elsewhere.
Date: How does next weekend (11/9, 10) or the weekend after (11/16, 17) look for folks?
Possible Locations and times:
El Gaucho, Belltown, 4 pm - 6 pm
Tap House Grill, Downtown (6th and Pine)
RN74, Downtown (4th and Pike), Saturday 4 - 6pm
Tanaka San, Belltown
Frolik, Downtown, Red Lion Hotel (5th and Pike)
