LAX: Proud Bird DOs?
Thanks to Palal, I learned today the Proud Bird restaurant is closing 21 November of this year. [Their catering service will close 21 December.]

I have no plans to go to LAX, but might be persuaded.
Anyone interested in a DO?

Thanks to SFOTerry for letting us know the Bird is still up and running!

I wonder where the planes that are on display will go....I've never look closely at them, do they have any historical value?
Even though the article mentioned that no new use for the property was planned, I can see how LAX/airport authority may not believe that this is the highest and best use of the property (snip):
Under those terms, LAWA is now receiving rent of $18,201 a month for 8.3 acres of commercial property, according to the statement.
That's a big chunk of land. Of course, $18k per month is better than an empty lot with a derelict building.
