Summer in the city - forecast is for a hot day. I'll skip going upstate with all that bucolic stuff, and instead get my first ride on the new 2nd Ave Subway.

Because there are clearly not enough FT food events in New York this weekend, come join us for our 46th meal, a Welsh brunch on Sunday morning (June 11) in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn.

We have a reservation at 11:30am at Sunken Hundred, an easy walk from the Bergen or Carroll stations on the F & G line, or from any of the trains that stop at Barclays Center. Reservation is currently for 12 people, but they can accommodate a few more if needed.

Great! It's a smaller place and we'll be among the first ones there, so I don't imagine you would have any trouble getting out of there in time.

I will try to attend, but it would be maybe 2pm unless I can get an earlier flight into NYC.
