As I've mentioned to some of you offline, I'm refocusing on this project in 2017, partially by ditching the alphabetical approach, instead looking more toward maintaining geographic variety. Currently targeting Sunday, January 8 for the next meal - Serbia - after a recent trip to the Balkans left me with a taste for more. Kafana (http://www.kafananyc.com/) is the place I have in mind; I just need to swing by there this weekend and see what they can accommodate.

Beyond that I will likely try to do one on Friday night, Jan 20, as we'll have people coming in town for the Winter WineDo.

As mentioned in the other thread, I'm planning a pre-WineDo South African dinner at Madiba on Friday the 20th. I'll be making a reservation later this week based on the level of interest.

I've eaten at Madiba before and it's quite good. Hopefully GrjApp can join us to verify its authenticity :)
