So I'm busy on Friday until about 7pm in Midtown (somewhere near Times Square). Not sure exactly what time I'll be done, but I will try to get down to join if I can break free without it being too late, so if someone can save an empty seat for me, I'll try my best to join!

Burkina Faso is tomorrow night (October 11) at my apartment on the Upper East Side. This will be more of an informal gathering than a sit-down dinner, if for no other reason than I have yet to purchase a dining table for this apartment :). I think I've given the address to everyone on the attendee list below, but if anyone else is interested in coming, please drop me a PM. Come over anytime beginning ~7:30. Attending bdnyc (+1?) dhammer53 Kathy_Wdrf thewayofthefuture + several I asked for enough food for 8-10 people, so it's first come, first served. We will have 3 courses available (main, side, dessert), but I don't exactly know what they will be.... |

Spoke with Cambodge just now and they do have a wine list but it is limited so they will charge corkage of $15. I will bring a bottle or two.

Like a few others around here, I generally flee the country on cheap airfare the week of Thanksgiving. I do expect to be in the city from 11/21 (Fri) to 11/24 (Mon), and could try to schedule a meal if that aligns with your travel plans.
Unfortunately we don't land until the 25th so we'll miss you. Still, plenty of the alphabet left so maybe we'll get a chance later on. |
