CHICAGO (Munster IN) 3 Floyds Brewery Flyertalk Dinner - Tues Sept 3
ok, that time again, a number of us will be going to 3 Floyds Brewery in nearby Munster IN. They do have a good menu (see their website listed below)
All are welcome to join us.
Time: 7PM, maybe 6:30, but I know some will be there earlier
Venue:
3 Floyds Brewery
9750 Indiana Pkwy
Munster, In 46321
www.3floyds.com
For those w/o a car, I will work with anyone who wants to get to 3 Floyds by picking up/dropping off, PM me if questions.
Speaking of transportation options, for those in the Loop who don't have a car (or don't want to drive). For the way out TO 3 Floyds, I am offering a pick up from the Hazel Crest station on the electric line ( http://metrarail.com/content/metra/e...ap/me/map.html ) This line leaves from the Millennium station (corner of Randolph & Michigan Ave). There are two trains that would work for this Dinner, the train that departs at 5:20pm (arrives HC at 5:52) or the other at 5:40pm (arrives HC at 6:13). Upon arrival at Hazel Crest, I will drive you the remainder of the way to 3Fs. Then at end of evening I'll drive the Loop people back to the Loop/City.
Please let thread know if you are interested in this option.
So who is interested?

Definitely yes for me. Will post about a possible +1.
Given the recent release cycles, we might get lucky and be able to buy Zombie Dust in cases. It's been coming every 10-14 days or so, and they just had some on Friday.
If anyone wants to ride there and back from Flossmoor, you can take the Metra Electric line from Millennium Station and I will drive. Just under an hour each way. This might be convenient if you are Loopish.

I'd say call me crazy
Or just not quite right in the head... But I'm prolly going to make the three hour drive up and back from PIA to make it. Or maybe just blow the day off when I get back On Monday from the three day weekend. ( unless someone at work is reading this, then my cat just entered detox after a three day intervention.)
If I get busted out on the cat excuse, I'll be running up to Dwight( home of the women's correctional facility) it's a great place to pick up the occasional bad girl. And then through Kankakee, up 57 to I 80 and possibly pick up those waiting in Peotone for the third airport to be built.
Otherwise just put me down for a solid maybe in case the meds wear off too soon!

I *really* hate missing this one.... but work calls so I won't be able to be there. Have a beer or 6 for me.
