So I'm def not going to be able to make it.
I am at the Common all week, though. Big stage at the corner of Beacon and Charles. If you're looking at the stage, I'm in the white truck just to the left with a small sign on the back that says 'GMatter'. I get out right after the last show every day if anyone wants to grab a post-event drink. BTW - the concert is free, every day until Saturday.

Drink one for me everyone. The condo is officially sold so no turning back from the West Coast. I'm keeping my BankBoston sponsored FastLane tag as a souvenir. I get less strange looks as I shed terms like RMV, packie, bubbler, and jimmies. Although it is funny to watch drivers in the SF Bay Area approach rotaries like a confused golden retriever trying to figure out a Tickle Me Elmo. Like any good FTer, I'll actually be in the air flying to ATL on 7/22.

WChou, sorry to lose you. I'll be out in SF in October, though. Maybe I'll see you then.
Efrem, it will be good to see you again, as always.

Hi MIke & the group,
Put me down as a maybe. I'm optimistic that maybe will turn into a "yes" by late on Friday.
Looking forward to my first DO in a number of years!

I'll be there, so name tags for screen names and first names are covered. And the forecast looks about perfect...

And for newbies: Even if the weather goes to hell in a handbasket, attire is whatever you like, and we'll have a roof over our heads.
tkey75, I looked for you last night during and after the Lonestar set until I started to sound crazy (how do you ask after someone you only have a screen name for?) and the police officer's suspicion appeared to become acute, but alas... Anyway, that look in the officer's eye caused flashbacks from similar events a couple of lives ago.....
And BTW, for fellow Bostonians, this Outside the Box Festival is really something. All over the Common, three large sound stages, and numerous smaller venues and activities for all ages. tkey75's venue is world class. I didn't even know what he was talking about until I stumbled on it (no, that didn't have anything to do with the officer's look) last evening. I'd been looking all over for who would be playing the Hatch Shell and City Hall Plaza this summer - not much as far as big names - but I guess this is the new model.
I guess I could have just said, "^".
