Please move me to the "Yes" list - I bought my tickets and booked rooms. My Saturday night room is currently booked into a "suite" ($99 AAA rate) at the Four Points near Bill Spoon's, which should be sufficient for a Saturday night gathering (although if someone wants to get a nicer room somewhere else that's fine by me...)

@HPN - you're right by my place then. I live just about 2 more miles down Woodlawn. What kind of watering hole would you like? OMB...the oldest Charlotte brewery is down Old Pineville 2 blocks. There are microbrews down South Blvd 2 miles.
I'm good at gastro pubs and microbreweries, but I really had no clue Bill Spoon's is right there on South.

A brewery tour would be quick.
From South to North we have
Four Friends down towards Carowinds
OMB south of South End
Triple C in South End
NoDa, Bird Song, and Heist are all pretty close.
Heist has the best food but the worst beer. OMB stays true to Germany with water without ice and soda served by the can.
NoDa and Birdsong just have food trucks.
Maybe instead of hijacking your time I should attempt to plan my own DO.
Regardless, I will join everyone here at the Que-do on August 17th and if anyone wants to come early or stay late I will gladly cart people around to local spots.
