Although Teena’s was technically across the street from Canarsie, I suppose this is the end of Canarsie being part of the Brooklyn Reality Tour — unless you decide to include a stop for bagels and bialys on the tour...

4 weeks to go.
A reminder. Check in is 9:30 - 9:45. We push back at 10:00 sharp. I'll post the address of the pick up location in the next few days. Old timers on the tour know the place.
I would suggest PM'ing me for my cell phone number, just in case you'll need directions to the first stop on the tour. Several years ago, I left one of my oldest FT friends behind when he was late. It killed me to leave Catman behind, but I did.
We still have a few seats left.
One last thing. Don't eat a big breakfast. Our first food stop is ~12:30 - 1:00.

Just a couple of things:
If for some reason you can't make the tour, a refund will be provided if I've covered the cost of the bus. I've said this in past years, but it's worth repeating. Over the years, money was refunded on occasion. That's not always the case.
I've PM'd my cell phone number to those of you that asked for it. Cell phone coverage is spotty at the pick up point. Try texting instead. Just for the record, I have left people behind. We push back at 10:04. Meow.

1 seat left
I booked a 20 passenger bus. That means I have 1 seat left.
If you're interested, now's the time to speak up.
I'll have an option to rent a larger bus if there are last minutes attendees.

Last year we donated to the Capt Jason Dahl Scholarship Fund. This year, they're very slowly getting close to their goal of $6000. There's 24 hours left as of this posting. You can make a difference. Read this, if you haven't already...

One of these years I'll contrive to be in NYC when this Do is on.
This year will be closer than most so, positive signs. Arrive into LAX on 2nd June, and will be passing through JFK on a status run sometime that week (yet to be ticketed).
Untill then, I'll enjoy reading this thread, and the "trip reports"...

This means Marty can ride with an empty seat next to him.
Just for the record, BRT has donated $200 to the Capt Jason Dahl Foundation.
A copy of which was cc'd to Carol. More riders = additional donations. ^
Pick up location: Write it down
234 East 46 street. It's the same location as previous tours. This is between Second and Third Avenue on the east side. It's just down the block from Sparks Steakhouse.
You'll need cash for pizza at L&B + dinner at Fiorentino's.
Anyone not on the tour can join us for lunch or dinner. We've been known to give hitchhikers a ride to our next stop.
