I'm not planning on going anywhere around that time, so suggestions are welcome.

Of course! I should be in town then, so I would be up for a meet-up. What about the other local/semi-local FTers? Any particular dates would work?

I could do Nov 27th (though it's my brother's bday so I will have to find out if he is doing anything on that Wed or waiting till Friday to celebrate.
But Sat/Sun should work for me.

Great --

Outside of touristy things the only probably planned event is the Cracovia hockey game on Nov 29. (I think, Google translate only works so well).

As an aside and not to hijack the thread: The Sheraton or the Radisson? (PMs welcome with hotel suggetions)

Cheers

both are nice hotels. the radisson is closer to the town square than the Sheraton, but its not a large difference - 5min. Whichever one that would give you the most points

You guys made me think. Wanted to come to KRK again since we had the great do there. Flights look good, hotels are nice, too. Could arrive on the 29th very late and could leave on the 1st.

Booked my trip. Will arrive on the 29th late and leave on the 1st. I will stay at the Novotel Centrum (across the Sheraton).

Hopefully jason8612 can join us on Saturday for dinner and drinks.

Sounds like a plan, I'll be able to make it out for some of it for sure. Thoughts where?

Not sure where. Depending on people and free time, we could do a all day DO or even a 2 day DO (maybe even head outside of Krakow and hit the slopes weather permitting)
I'm up for any suggestions/things that one wants to see.

Pimento is still there as of this morning

We've also got a pretty decent burger truck on that street now (e.g. tied with Moaburger for best in the city IMO) and after years I finally made it to Omerta (pub) and then immediately kicked myself for not doing it sooner. Surprisingly good selection of non-Polish beers to go with their huge selection of Polish beer (quite enjoyed Koniec Świata last time, reminded me of the other end of the world beer)So lots of options, really.

Not sure if December will be early enough for the Christmas markets on the Rynek, but I would take that risk for grilled Oszczypek
