18 - 20 Aug works best for me. Any place is fine.

mhnadel - thanks for volunteering to organize. I'll be on the road from August 12-24, so I'm unable to join this time.

I've got a reservation at Del Campo for August 20th at 7 p.m., for 6 people. The restaurant week deal is $35 for 3 courses. While they haven't posted the actual menu yet, the reviews I've read from the past look promising. It's nominally South American, with lots of grilled, smokey stuff.

The regular menu looks interesting (hopefully the RW menu will be too) and the restaurant is close to my office, so sign me up.

Why not? Del Campo has a $25/bottle corkage fee which is reasonable as their wine prices are very high. I have 10 year old reserve Malbec waiting to be drunk.

I've added headinclouds and ironmanjt to the list and started a wait list, with arthurhs at the top of it. Experience is that one or two people often need to drop out, so the wait list works as a way to keep things in order. If it looks like there will be more people, I can try to call to increase the reservation, but that tends to be difficult for restaurant week.

Throw me on the waiting list too. I live near Del Campo, and can recommend it.

Please add me to the waitlist as well. (I am also only p=0.5 on the date, but would know closer to dinner.)

On another topic, I am hosting a Meet-up for readers of my blog, The Military Frequent Flyer, at Sine's at Pentagon Row on 6 Aug at 1800. You don't have to be military to join - there will be translators present to help you with the military language if you are not fluent. Anyone interested in miles and points is welcome to attend. My blog has a map if you don't know where Sine's is located. The first round of chicken wings is on me!
