I'm Washington DC July 3-6. Staying in downtown near the National Mall. July 5 evening works best for me and a few others. Anyone familiar with DC want to suggest a place?

I've been wanting to try Rus Uz in Ballston. Russian and Uzbeki food, looks like an interesting beer list.

Was hoping to travel somewhere, but didn't get around to booking any tickets. So, I'm also flexible on time and place.

I plan to be at Rus Uz on July 5 at 6:30pm, unless the DC fireworks get rescheduled for July 5 (there is a chance of rain on July 4). It is close to the Ballston Metro station.

I could likely be available on July 5th at 6:30pm. The Rus-Uz website has the wrong zip code. North Arlington has odd numbered zip codes. So don't google map with the zip code.

Address is 1000 N Randolph St, Arlington VA 22201 (not 22202, which is Crystal City).

I will be there, but does anyone know if we might need a reservation?

Is this still happening today, July 5th, 6:30pm, at Rus-UZ?

You all enjoy.

It didn't look like there was much interest, so I did not make a reservation. Frankly, I could use time to do some stuff at home.

Looks like there is only 1 or 2 people available so I'll pass this time.

I returned today and would have come. It's too bad that it's not happening.

I literally live down the street from Rus Uz, but have been up in Anchorage at my second home for the week. Should you want to try again, please let me know. We could do before or after drinks at my townhouse which is only two blocks away from the restaurant.

Glenn

p.s. one of my Soldiers is a refugee from Uzbekistan and says that restaurant is "OK".

Restaurant Week is approaching - August 17-23rd. I believe I am around all week that week. Anyone interested in one or two outings? Any particular places I should try for reservations at?
