I'll be in Baltimore from 10/3-15. I came to Georgetown last time, so northeast side of town or in between might be nice this time :p

had originally thought about working @ Pentagon the week of 10 Oct, but that was before realizing that Mon is a Federal holiday (and being informed that probably 2/3 of my Air Force office leadership will be taking leave the remainder of that week) … so my most realistic guess at calendar looks like week of 17-22 Oct

For anyone concerned about the metro (blue and yellow line) shutdown south of DCA, it's been extended to Nov 5th.

dinner plans w friends fell through tonight so I decided to stop in at Mussel Bar in Ballston (site of a *very* good DCHH meetup several years ago) (there are about a dozen banter posts following the linked one ;) )

for future reference, their happy hour runs until 7pm — a half-pot of mussels and a draft beer (or glass of house wine) for $20

for additional future reference, I’m expecting to be in the area approx every three weeks through next summer

In Arlington on 11/06/22 (Sunday) late afternoon/evening. Mayhaps be around IAD on Monday evening.

I was going to propose Dogfish Head (Greenbriar shopping center on 50), but google maps also brought up Ono Brewing (off Willard Rd) which has a BBQ place on site

So for Monday evening? I'm good with that.

Additionally, there's also Willard's near by. Plus a bunch of decent ethnic restaurants within a mile.

followup to the followup — DELee and I serendipitously met up at the Avis desk at IAD earlier this afternoon, and decamped to a nice British pub (Hawk and Griffin) in Vienna for a beverage and dinner
