Yes folks... its that time of the year today. With the end of today's activities, the seventh annual Cow Do has come to an end, and its therefore time to start the new master thread for Cow Do VIII.

For those of you not familiar with this event... please see below for details on what the traditional Cow Do is all about...

This will be the eigth consecutive organization of this event, so please mark these dates on your calendars.... and be on the lookout for fares as soon as the rules of your favorite airline allows...

- 1300hs lunch for early birds (auto-arrange, I can post suggestions)
- 2030hs 1st Group Dinner - Don Julio (grilled Cow & more)

Saturday, Sept 01
- 1100hs Charity Wine Tasting Event at Terroir Fine Wines & Spirits
- 1430hs Group Lunch - SottoVoce Libertador (Argentine Italian)
- 2000hs 2nd Group Dinner - Pura Tierra, 5 course special dinner w/ optional wine pairing program

Sunday, Sept 02
- option A, day trip to Colonia, Uruguay
- option B, see a Soccer Game

I guess I'll be the first to say, "mark me as interested/probable for Cow DO VIII."

I had a great time and will pull out all the stops to make it to the next edition.

As always, I'll have to hold off committing until my schedule fully resolves itself closer to the date, but I'll do what I can to keep the weekend clear.

Looks good Alex. I see the events planned has expanded to include a football game. Very nice.

I do not have the time off of work this year for this one, but will keep an eye on awards available for the sat-monday portions. If we can get tickets, i'd like to make the return.

Well, I would have liked to read that you do have time for this... alas, I will see the glass half full and keep my fingers crossed that you do find good fares and are able to make it down again !!! ^
