Nope. Don't trust the seat map. They move the divider. On one of my AMS-WAW they had only Rows 1-3 as Europe Select, and the other 1-4.

Guys\Gals,
I've been searching for cheap and reliable transportation from the airport to the hotel by the central train station. I think I found a winner. One way ticket cost only $1 and it doesn't stop at regular bus stops, just in front of the hotels. It goes to the following hotels: Hotel Gromada / Airport Hotel Hotel Novotel / Business Garden Hotel Sobieski / Hotel Golden Tulip Hotel Marriott Holiday Inn / Intercontinental Hotel Polonia Palace / Hotel Novotel Centrum Hotel Jan III Sobieski and at the end to the Central Train station / Metro Centrum. http://www.warsawairporttransfer.pl/...mages/mapa.jpg For Westin people; I would get off at Intercontinental stop and walk 2 or 3 blocks on the same street (Aleja Jana Pawla II). Check if your hotel is listed Here is the link http://www.warsawairporttransfer.pl/ Taxi from the airport to the central train station cost between $30-$40. Rip off. If you don't speak Polish I wouldn't be surprised if they charge you $50. Always negotiate the rate :) If you have early AM departure out of WAW back to AMS or CDG I think you will have to take the taxi, but at least going to town you will save some money. The bus stop is near Terminal 2 and the bus departs at these hours: 09.03 , 10.34 , 12.05 , 13.27 , 14.58 , 16.29 , 18.00. Who is arriving on the 25th on KLM from AMS at noon? We can take the bus together. (BTW - I speak Polish) :) Hope this helps a little. |
I'm checking if this bus still exists on another forum. When I hear back I'll let you know.
On the other note. Ive paid for taxis from the airport to Marriott downtown 35pln (about $10), and from hotel to the airport also $10 not including tip (both times I gave the driver 50pln). But before you get to the taxi ask the driver how much it will cost to take you to your hotel. |

Does anyone know if this airport bus is stilling running? The website seems to be gone.
---- Also, I heartily apologize for the delay, but for everyone who asked for it, I uploaded the photo of the last WAW meetup on my Facebook profile. It's in the following album: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...0943132&type=3 Hoping for another one in the future! :D |
