LOL...

I'm willing to HELP, so if people want to step up and help we could put something together.

I can't think of any better excuse to go and visit the place I lived for 7 years. I'm in.

I think the message is clear here, that FlightNurse does NOT want to take lead on planning a Do but is gracious enough to help out.

Why doesn't this thread continue to guage interest for a PHX Do? It looks like most would be interested in a PHX spring time Do and perhaps later this year, someone will take the ball up and plan a Do for that time.@:-)

I'd be happy to help from here (I could contact Ho Ho Kams about a block of tickets), but if I were to organize, we'd be at Roaring Fork every night eating green chile pork and green chili mac and cheese, and a ballgame every day.

Yes, we have a nice restaurant in my area. You can come at Desert Ridge if you like.

You are always welcome to come in Desert Ridge Marketplace. We have a nice restaurant at CPK, Island's Burger or Pita Jungle.

I know Desert Ridge very well I live north about .5 miles from it. But it might not be a place that really shows off local food, too many corp places.

Possible, but you are south of Desert Ridge, I'm north of Desert Ridge.

I'm only in town for 3 or 4 months a year, but am up for anything while I'm in town. <Hint: I try to leave for as much of the summer as possible.>

That's the best idea I've ever heard. Though I'd be all over the lamb chop fondue appetizer.

Lamb, YES ! too many folks have only had the overcooked gray crappy lamb served with mint sauce, UGH! (no wonder most folks haven't tried it since). Just had a lamb w/cumin dish at a local Chinese place, divine !
Sorry to get off topic but as you can tell, I likes me lamb.

Yeah, do you know where Fireside? We are live in South Desert Ridge. You haven't see it at my house before?

Well I am in TUS several times a year so a PHX DO would be great and. I have had quite the enjoyment of organizing/helping the PBI/FLL DL Meets for 6 years I believe. I'm happy to help although right now I'm living near PBI. Anyway count me in and Spring or Fall is fine with me. I'll commit to the ticket raffle organization for door prizes ( Airline amenities are always welcome). CX FC PJ's always go first, but anything theme related from your home town, Hot Sauce, Ant Farms. Swiss or Israeli Chocolates etc are welcome. Everybody will leave with a prize. It actually gets to be loads of fun.

I get CX PJ's most of the time, so I'm sure I can donate at least one of them.
