Interested in seminar + hotel.

Question1: Does the hotel rate require 2-night stay? I may have to leave Sat evening/night. If so, and if one night is not permitted, I can (reluctantly) consider another nearby hotel.

Question2: Like any good FTer I have to ask, is $149 a/i rate?

Suggestion: One day is not a whole lot of time. I suggest avoiding "what is MR" and "why we should accumulate miles" type talks. Anyone willing to fly to NYC is clearly beyond that. Similarly, while a little bit of nostalgia about unrepeatable feats can be fun, let the focus be on tools and techniques that can be put to use in 2011.

Mark me down including hotel (fri + sat night). Will be getting there the anti-flyertalk way ie Greyhound Bus. Well i did earn a free bus ticket from my trips to the airport so i guess it sort of counts. Any guess what time the Friday cocktail party may begin?

Interested , no hotel... I'm a local...

Suggestion, I second the "Let's avoid what's an MR?" topics... let's focus on current ideas, also perhaps some Credit Card/Bank Bonuses seminar on how to fund accounts with promos and CC... since lot's of us also pad our accounts with these techniques...

also, perhaps an advanced ITA class seminar, I know some people (including me) who pad MRs nicely with extra stops... and then how to book these ITA deals on several sites...

just my 2 cents! but either way, I'm in...

The hotel rate does NOT require a 2 night stay.

As to question 2, we're working on lowering the rate right now. But, the $149 is NOT an all-in rate.

Thanks. The rate is showing up as 149 (174 a/i) on just about every hotel site, courtesy Google, so there is no group discount for us so far.
