I won't be too disappointed if I can't get into the RCC -- my flight from LAX isn't scheduled to arrive until 11:49 A.M. anyway. I'll just hang out at the departure gate so I can get a good seat for Capt. Denny's famous pre-flight briefing. :D

Ben: Please add SFOMo and me to the confirmed dinner list. We will not be on UA760, but are taking CO269 SFO-IAH at 12:25am Saturday. We'll probably take a taxi from home to Max's, and hope to take the Hyatt shuttle back to SFO (unless that's not A-OK with Hyatt). So:

c) Yes, but we'll be going to the CO Pres club Friday night.

I figure we can all head over to the SFO RCC at around 10-11AM and have a pre-party. Hopefully we'll also be able to guest anyone that wants access into the Regency Club at the Hyatt for the spread on Friday night and/or breakfast on Saturday.

Happy to hear some more people are able to join us!^ Should be a great time.


Hey, I've volunteered to be bumped off of one of Captain Denny's flights before, so it wouldn't be a first. That being said, unfortunately iluv2bump is joining us, so there goes my chance.:p

Will anyone else be heading to SFO for a flight after dinner?

Not sure if we will be able to jump on either the Hyatt or Crowne Plaza shuttles without having been a guest. Any thoughts?

I think I'm out of the running for a UDU as iirc, I bought a lower fare class than most.

I'd be amused to see it go to the gate & watch the GAs as one FTer after the other rejects the offered UG :p

Two things...
 
First of all, Captain Denny has asked us to dress up a bit for the flight, as we did in the past for the group flight. He provides service back from the "good old days," so I think it's only fair we reciprocate the same respect people treated flying with back in the good old days. Of course it's optional, but if you can, by all means do. I know I'll be wearing a suit, though that's not to say anyone else has to!

Second, it looks like the festivities might start a bit earlier on Saturday morning at SFO. Stay tuned for details on that, hopefully by this evening.

Hmm.. Wish I had known about this last week. I've been gone from Lawrence since Thursday, and did not bring any dressy clothing with me.. I do have my Hawaiian shirt.

I can track this in the OP. I'm in coach. Did your CR1 end up clearing? If I'm not mistaken, iluv2fly, chrisw, and waterstrider are in F so far.

Upgrade cleared. Sounds like I may have wanted to stay in E+. I hope there are still activities for us in F, even if most people are in E+..

You might be able to have them put you back in E+ or you could just swap seats with someone in the back.
