Just saw the post. I would love this and it would be my first DO as well!

TAHKUCT Nov 30, 2010 8:36 pm

Also interested. Will need to know a location and a date in order to make sure I can attend.

BiziBB Nov 30, 2010 8:38 pm

I'm very interested in this, too.
Please add date & place to title (or if/when a poll is taken).

Thanks for this thoughtful and fun idea. :)

But you, me and the Mrs. would not earn any miles......;) :D

Also interested (a lot) :)

Count me in

I would love the opportunity to high five, clink glasses, or whatever with Randy et al. He is one of the most generous, fun loving person I have had the opportunity to know.

SFO and DEN would easily work for me.

mnmag Dec 2, 2010 1:38 pm

Interested here, too!^

Not much left of 2010, but we are planning a huge event in NYC April 28th-31st. I would love to honor our dear friend some time one of those days.

The FT Awards are on the night of the 28th, all other nights are open

Cheers

I'm sure you mean Sun. May 1st, not April 31st!;)

I like the idea of a hub in the US, much as we like international travel. I think we should maximize our chances of a good turnout. DEN, SFO, LAX, maybe Randy should choose...

We could fly from OAK-DEN-SFO-DEN-OAK or
SJC-LAX-SFO-LAX-SJC. to get our miles too ^:D^

I'm definately interested...it just depends on when and where.

Just saw this thread. Say when, and I'm in.

I think Randy may finally make the BRT (Brooklyn Reality Tour). It's going to be the first or second Saturday in June.

Not to coopt this, but I am hoping people will join us when we go to COS/HOM as part of my contest win, currently planned for Apr 15 - 17, starting with dinner in SF on the 15th, then onto COS, dinner there on the 16th, then HOM to socialize with Randy and a game of HORSE on the 17th. We'll post more in a separate thread when there's more details, but if you are interested in joining us, please save the date. (and you can join in for any part of it or all of it, of course.)

Originally we were trying to synchronize the HOM event with the FT awards in NYC, (Apr 28, I believe, with some events planned for that weekend too) but that just didn't work out.

Yes, The Second Annual Frequent Traveler Awards, Citi Field April 28th confirms it. Let us know any events planned outside the dinner itself.
