Congratulations to the happy couple! Always wanted to ask my bride in a surprising way. It was a surprise, just not in the "in front of a crowd" manner that I envisioned, just a quiet evening at home.

Elaine, I didn't get to meet you, and I didn't hear about your surprise engagement until just now, but congratulations!
I met your man last year in Phoenix, and we had a couple of cool conversations, but when I ran into him Saturday morning, he was positively glowing, a more complete man, perhaps.
Now, in retrospect, I can see why.

Elaine & I would love to tell and give everyone not only our biggest thanks but the greatest amount of our love and respect for all FT's. The greatest of love & respect for Ingy,Katybug,toomanybooks,Eddie & Kathleen.
For me, FT's are a family & my family away from family and that is why I more importantly chose to do it that way. Eddie & Kathleen had already decided to set up a special dinner for some of us so I decided to combine that along w/ your love. Til this second, I wouldn't have done it any other way. Susan & CDKing-I love you!

My diamond radar knew the moment she was handed the bag what was in it. 
I turned to the FTer next to me and said that someone is going to propose to her.
Congratulations to the lovely couple. It was great to be part of the crowd of onlookers and it had to be the loudest cheer I heard all weekend, and there were lots of those.
