We're booked
Mr. Silver Springer and I will be flying on UA 357 from BWI arriving in ORD on Friday at 4:15 pm.
We will be leaving ORD on UA 956 departing ORD at 4:11 pm on Sunday. Can't wait. We are interested in dinners and socials but do not have a car.

Local for the purposes of the DO (will be in Chicago visiting friends and family before and after the DO). Will be staying downtown during the DO.

Arriving ORD from SFO via Madison at 2:45pm on 10/15. Will be staying with my sister (ksuckow), who's local. Departing 10/18 at 2:20 pm.

travelholicscuba and janiegreenthumb definetly attending. arrive on 10/11 to visit sister in area and depart 10/18, therefore do not need shuttles. received luggage tags from randy, thanks. very much appreciate rick and others efforts to put this together. we will pre-pay for meals when this is posted.

Chicago Seminar Do Charity Raffle
So what’s crazier than flying into a town to learn about airline points & hotels? Raising funds for charity of course while at the Do!
I'm chair of the charity raffle, and am in the midst of lining up fabulous prizes such as airline & hotel gift cards, electronics, airline ‘stuff’, and other cool things.
Tickets will be $1/each, with discounts (ie, more tickets) for extra tickets you purchase. Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to FT Kiva, as well as 4 Chicago area charities for children (Chicago Lights, Chicago Food Bank - Nourish for Education, Reach The World, and Misericordia).
StarMegaDo1 did a similar raffle & raised $5,000 for charity. With twice the number of attendees, we’d like to beat that goal – because hey, we’re FTers and they’re good causes!
So I need your help – I need people to help me sell raffle tickets on Saturday (raffle takes place Sunday morning; must be present to win). Please contact me directly via PM or email to offer your assistance in handling raffle sales.
See you in a couple of months - and start saving those $1bills (or $5, $10, $20
).
