OK, I am the guy that`s currently scuba diving in Bali. I brought this up a while ago, and I am surprised that actually someone remembered that I did put it in a post. Oliver, I`ve sent you a PM re: the payment situation. Thanks for the consideration.

@all: a short weater update from Bali: Air 88F, Sea 84F - scuba diving is great

Best regards from Tulamben, Bali,

Everyone signed up has received an email with the link. If you didn't get the email, just send us an email on [email protected] and we will provide the link

Thanks!:)

Thanks. I, too, was a late registrant.

Tommy,

Where are these media people from, and what happens if we dont want to be part of their story.

chumbawumba Sep 3, 2010 12:26 am

I will raise the offer on our Stammtisch next week.

Anyone interested to support me?

@yul36 - If someone does not want to be part of their story, I am sure, that can be arranged by just telling him/her.

Last year we had a few on the trip too, they will gladly skip your face and not talk to you if you mention it at the onset.

Oh, I saw your signature, and I understand what "Stammtisch" means, I just could not figure out what it had to do with SMDO II?

Folks,

After going through the list of participants and cancellations, we still have 40 spots left for the charter. That means we are not even at break yet...

Last year, we were 229 with a European destination, this year, only 159 have committed with the 100 bucks non refundable deposit... Glad we didn't get the UAL 747

Many of you have emailed and PMed me if there's anything you can do to help.

Well, there is: Please help us get the word out there so we can fill the plane again this year.

Considering how many people are on FT I am surprised at the lack of participants. I think this is a get together not to get more miles ( though it does come in handy) but to enhance the experience of belonging to a community and expanding the knowledge base. I wish more people would sign up as we really need to support the hard work that has gone into this arrangement and expand our sphere of influence with the service providers.
So come on-- sign up and be a part of the group!!

You could make up the difference by charging $100 for the raffle tickets for the Lufthansa Flight Training program. ;)

Is anyone else having trouble using the Sheraton FRA booking link? As soon as I put my card details in and click next or whatever, it takes me to the confirmation page but doesn't have the card details and then when I try to click confirm it tells me to reenter my card number... :o

ETA: solved... filled in the form with all my details manually without logging into spg and it went through this time

Question regarding CO/UA feeder flights

Can we chose which flights for the domestic feeder? CO (UA codeshare) has a nonstop SAN-EWR that’s currently $569 one way. This would be okay on 10/31, but not on 11/1 due to the transfer time from EWR to JFK. The other choices (UA one-stop) cost $195 but feeder would be $300 due to it being 2 legs. I want the CO non-stop for $150. Return IAH-SAN is the same.

OK, I must admit, I hate forums and can't find crap in them. Where is the sign-up link. I have a buddy of mine that wants to attend and neither one of us can find the url to sign up / give our pennies to. Any help for the nerdless is greatly appreciated!
