You earn whatever the CO chart says you earn. The LH chart is here. The LX chart is here. Those charts indicate 150% for business.

Thanks, that's what I figured, but paranoiatx got me a little paranoid (no pun intended) by asking if there wasn't any way to earn 100% with CO. It had to be that he/she was referring to Y but you never know.

Not using our negotiated fares. If you find something that is more appealing to you as a published fare feel free to buy it.
This does make my other questions that much more important to me, especially #3, since I would be very interested in taking CO47 to maximize miles -- assuming the price is comparable. |
The demand for CO47, LX 15 and OS has been very low, so I would hesitate to offer economy pricing unless we have 10 more interested in this. If we do offer something because of high level of interest it will be priced about 10% cheaper (on the base fare) than the lowest available booking class.

ahhhhhh - and I expected an operational upgrade (at least I was hoping)...:D
therefore I propose a new thread "hello, I am booked on FRA-IAH Nov 3rd - will i get an upgrade????" :):) I am in F from JFK-FRA, but I can't get F for FRA-IAH, and I've been trying ever since the SMDO II designated flights were first announced. |
If you haven't checked the SMD2 events website recently there are some interesting entries. :)
Nov. 2 Frankfurt Airport Evening Events - A special dinner will be held for all event participants. There will be several special guests from The Lufthansa Group in attendance. This will be followed by a very special nightcap reception in a very special location. Nov. 5 Houston Fly to Phoenix - There will be an on-board raffle to determine who will visit the Lufthansa Flight Traning program in Phoenix. Nov. 5 Phoenix Lufthansa Flight Traning program - A visit to ACTA - Airline Training Center Arizona Upon landing in Phoenix, a select group of participants will be whisked off to Lufthansa's nearby training facility. There, they will be given a private tour and experience how Lufthansa trains its elite pilots in the Arizona desert. |
Some questions...
Will it be possible to go to Europe from YVR or another city other than JFK? I would take LH over and most likely to IAH as well.
Dates that the special fare is available? Would it be possible to go to Europe a week early? |
Last year we had the feature of starting from all over the country (US, not CA) and it created a lot of problems. Lets keep it simple please.
|
Feeders will be available (CO/UA in domestic USA, LH in Europe), however they will be 150$++ for CO/UA and 120€++ for LH, so you may be better off making your arrangements. There will be the facility to request a feeder in the booking form. If we have more than 10 (from OSL-FRA for example) we can apply for a group fare which will be about 10% lower than the W fares. I plan to book the LH flights FRA - IAH and SEA - FRA in C. If I also request feeder flights (OSL - FRA - OSL), do I also get them in C? If not, is there a special fare available for feeder flights in C? Thanks. |
Hi,
sadly we don't have enough demand to offer any feeders from within europe. |
Thanks for the reply Oliver!

Hi,
sadly we don't have enough demand to offer any feeders from within europe. I also plan to stay a little longer in Seattle after the end of the DO. How long is it possible to stretch the return flight with the group fare? Is it possible to stretch it just a little longer than a week, maybe 8 or 9 days after the end of the DO? |
You would have to buy a separate ticket for FRA-XXX. You can book the SEA-FRA for a later date than Nov 7.

Last; I'm going to book LH440 on 3. nov (with the rest of you guys), but the return SEA - FRA 13'th. or 14'th. nov. In the "Passenger Data Entry Form" under "Scheduled Flight Options", should I check "yes" for "I Do not want to fly the scheduled flights listed above. Instead I would like to book these LH flights:" and fill out the form for LH491 on my perferred date? My point is that I want one of the scheduled flights, but the return on a different date. Thanks! |
