I greatly apologize for dropping the ball on planning for this event. With all the worldwide earthquakes in locations where my place of business has interests (& students!) - my spring was competely hijacked. Let's try this again.

I see there is a dinner planned around SFO for Capt Denny on June 19th. Definitely don't want to compete with that (especially since I'd love to attend it myself). What about the evening of June 9th? Its mid-week and enough in advance for people to make arrangments to attend. We can decide where once we have decided when.

Let me know your thoughts.

I can't do anything before June 11th which means I will probably miss this event. I would love to come up for a future Sunday night dinner.

A couple I think if you go between N86 (Spanish Springs) to RTS (Stead) to RNO.

Sounds like the 9th works for almost everyone, except FoundInRNO. If it wouldn't mess up anyone's plans, why don't we move the meet up to the
16th so we can have the most people involved? Let's meet at 6 p.m. Where shall we go?

We can't do that, but we'll be in town for 6 hours on Sat June 26th. Would love to get an Awful Awful around 5:30pm!

I'll be out of town on the 26th. Haven't had an Awful Awful in years. Come to think of it, that's Awful.

Why don't we plan on meeting at 6 p.m. at the Little Nugget for Awful, Awful's on the 16th. Those who have done the RNO to Little Nugget run can explain how to get there (I heard in involves the Eldorado shuttle) for anyone flying in.

SFO Terry - then whoever can meet up with you on the 26th at 5:30 p.m. for a second dose of the good stuff will be there!

Thank goodness we finally have some solid plans!

Just bumping this thread to remind anyone who wants to join us for an Awful, Awful (Awfully Big, Awfully Good) Burger at the Little Nugget in Reno on June 16th at 6 p.m. Hope to see some of you there!

Where is this exactly... under the arch? I'm from RNO (but moved overseas 8 years ago) and am arriving back there for a long visit on the 15th. I'' have a bit of jetlag, but should be able to make it.

How many are going?

Hi Desert Nomad - The Little Nugget is at 233 N Virginia Street, between Commercial Row and 2nd Street. It memory serves - it is right near the arch.

I will change the first post in this thread to start a list of who's said they will be there.
